To Unpack Today’s World… You Need to Understand this Concept

What’s the critical concept? It’s knowledge of the Truth-Time Lag. Most people might object that they already understand this concept of truth lagging behind the narrative.

However most people don’t even come close to realizing how long that principle has been in operation.

You’re ability to do this will transform your view of the past and consequently your view of the current reality.

For the past 125 years, the nearly instantaneous “Narrative” almost always gets transformed into what amounts to… cultural mythology. Or to be more exact “our cultural mythology.”

Being “awake” to the propaganda/news thing for over 20 years, is NOT ENOUGH TO PROTECT YOU, because our collective histories mythologies have been shaping our vision of the world for much longer.

The turn of the 20th century is when the fledgling deception, err.. propaganda science really started to take off. Technologies like the Penny Press and the railroads enabled the distribution of cheap newspapers far and wide across the country and solidified the ability to set a narrative for broad swaths of the nation.

Our very own 20th century is…mostly mythology. Yes, OUR American 20th century!

I’ll be making this case in Masters of Illusion: The Rise of Corporate Social Control. But, here’s the critical point.

You can be an expert in identifying all the psychological propaganda tricks and tactics that have ever been created and still have cavernous blind spots created by an errant and faulty history.

And the kicker? Corrections to the original mythologies are right there sitting on dusty shelves. But woe to those trying to find them in a sea of data.

Below is a rough outline of a timeline as a crude representation of what I’m explaining (Click to enlarge). The writings of “revisionist” history, or corrective history as it should be called, are in green.

“Corrective” or Genuine History Deduced Years Later

Take for example WWI and WWII. The Nye Committee demolished the pretexts for joining WWI and Anthony Sutton’s three books about WWII throw an absolute monkey wrench into the generally accepted historical narratives.

The red lines beneath the graph represent some of the largest corporate propaganda campaigns designed to establish proper “Attitudes” for the dutiful American citizen during that century. And these are but no means all.

The corporate intention was that you and I would buy into “The Narratives” and be shielded from real history.

How can you get up to speed on a century of history?

Here’s what I suggest. Read Masters of Illusion: The Rise of Corporate Social Control which revises the Age of Reform and identifies the exact technologies for deception that were already in use at the turn of the century.

Then read one book from the post-WWI section and either Sutton’s trilogy or American Betrayal, by Diane West as the revision for WWII.

In less than three months you’ll have done yeoman’s work to tear down the blinding mythologies and reestablish sound vision as you seek to connect the dots within the 21st century.

Done well, this exercise will do more for your propaganda vision than a week’s worth of non-stop social media feeds and/or podcasts.

Do I have any takers?
